  3.     Dear Potential CMFiler User,
  4.  
  5.     Thank you for trying CMFiler!  I am certain you will find it the
  6.     most powerful and easiest-to-use disk/file manager in the
  7.     shareware market today.  I have not included an INSTALL program
  8.     simply because CMFiler is unencumbered by auxiliary supporting
  9.     files, does not need to be on its own directory with a special
  10.     name, etc.

  12.     Just copy the two program files -- CMFILER.COM and CMFILER.OVY --
  13.     into any directory you wish CMFiler to reside on, and with that
  14.     directory selected at the DOS prompt, type CMFILER.  CMFiler will
  15.     create a file called CMFILER.CFG which will store the setup data
  16.     you specify as you tailor CMFiler to your needs during operation.
  17.     If you rename the CMFILER files to the shorter name I recommend
  18.     (just to conserve keystrokes) -- ie, CF vice CMFILER -- be sure to
  19.     rename all three files, so that you end up with CF.COM, CF.OVY and
  20.     CF.CFG. (Actually, any name will do, as long as all three files
  21.     are named the same.  You could call them all F if you wanted.)

  23.     If you would like to use a major credit card to register CMFiler
  24.     for $30, you can call the Public (software) Library registration
  25.     service at 1-800-2424-PsL or 713-524-6394, and ask for CMFiler,
  26.     part number 10657.

  28.     CompuServe has also begun a registration service to make
  29.     registration easier for CIS subscribers.  CMFiler is listed as
  30.     entry #15.  To register using this service, just GO CIS:SWREG from
  31.     the ! prompt.
